Jin Steel Casting Industry currently has one 380m³ building; Casting blast furnace, 4 centrifugal ductile iron pipe production lines, with an annual output of 400000 tons of multi specification and multi model ductile iron pipes such as DN100-DN2600.
1. Factory wide production facilities
The construction of the casting blast furnace and casting pipe workshop in Jin Steel Casting Industry is divided into zones, with the blast furnace being the No. 5 blast furnace in the blast furnace group of Jin Steel Holdings Group Park, covering an area of 7.5 hectares; The casting workshop is located on the north side of Jin Steel Holdings Group, covering an area of 300 acres.
The raw and auxiliary fuels required for the 380m³ casting blast furnace, such as ball ore, block ore, coke, and coal injection, are stored in the existing coke block ore shed and blast furnace coal injection shed of Jin Steel Holdings Group. The sintered ore is provided by the sintering machine of Jin Steel Holdings Group and is directly transported to the ore tank through a tubular belt conveyor. The water slag is transported to the environmental protection building materials company for disposal through a belt corridor.

All the molten iron required for the pipe casting workshop shall be transported by dedicated molten iron tankers according to the prescribed route.

The casting workshop currently has 6 sets of 10t/h fully enclosed medium frequency furnaces, 4 sets of fully automatic sand mixing core making machines, 5 water-cooled centrifugal casting machines, 2 hot mold centrifugal casting machines, 1 70 meter long continuous annealing furnace, 2 thermal storage trolley horizontal annealing furnaces, and 4 intelligent finishing lines.

2. Ultra low emission transformation and production monitoring and control
Since the implementation of the ultra-low emission transformation of the blast furnace process and the upgrading of the casting pipe workshop in Jin Steel Casting Industry, the cumulative environmental protection investment has exceeded 100 million yuan.

1) Blast furnace area
By controlling the sulfur content of raw materials and fuels, the source reduction of atmospheric pollutants can be achieved. To ensure the long-term stability and compliance of SO ₂ for end gas users, a fixed bed desulfurization flue gas purification process is implemented for the hot blast stove. At the same time, high-efficiency bag filters are used for dust removal at the main discharge outlets, blast furnace ore tanks, and iron casting yards.

In order to effectively control the unorganized emissions of particulate matter and carbon monoxide, Jin Steel Casting Industry has carried out closed renovation of blast furnace ore tanks, iron tapping yards, iron trenches, and slag trenches to ensure that there is no visible smoke and dust escape environment during operation. Install a pressure equalization gas recovery pipeline and supporting valves next to the pressure equalization and release system on the top of the blast furnace to achieve full recovery of pressure equalization and release gas.

2) Pipe casting workshop
In order to effectively monitor the emission of pollutants in the factory area, Jin Steel Casting Industry has carried out ultra-low level renovation of online facilities such as blast furnace ore tanks, blast furnace tapping yards, and spray production line exhaust pipes, and installed distributed control systems for real-time monitoring and historical tracing. At the same time, high-definition video surveillance facilities are installed at the entrances and exits of the material yard, blast furnace ore tanks, and other dust prone points. TSP and VOC concentration monitoring equipment are installed around the main dust producing points in the production process and material transportation links, as well as around the core making and spraying processes. Air quality monitoring micro stations are set up in workshop areas such as material storage greenhouses and blast furnaces, as well as on internal roads.
