The ductile iron pipe production base of Shanxi Jin Steel Casting Co.,Ltd takes the digital central control platform as the core and digitally controls the entire process. Advanced intelligent equipment is introduced in key processes, and the production operation is highly intelligent, saving more than 200 workers, providing a demonstration for the digital upgrade of traditional manufacturing industry.

The ductile iron pipe production base uses the most advanced casting production technology and facilities, and introduces advanced intelligent equipment in key processes, which reduces production energy consumption and improves equipment level, production efficiency and safety factor.

The main production facilities include: 5 blast furnaces, 6 10T fully enclosed medium frequency furnaces, 4 sets of intelligent sand mixing core making machines, 5 fourth-generation water-cooled centrifuges, 2 second-generation hot model centrifuges, 1 70-meter-long intelligent annealing furnace, 2 trolley horizontal annealing furnaces, and 4 intelligent finishing production lines.

Advanced intelligent equipment for key processes: 50-ton intelligent metallurgical cranes are specially equipped for the smelting section, 3 intelligent cranes are tailored for the casting section, 70-meter-long intelligent continuous annealing furnaces are used in the annealing section, and 8 robots are installed in the finishing spray painting section.
