Cleaning of socket and spigot

Thoroughly clean the socket and spigot, insert the rubber sealing ring, and check if all facing directions are suitable and correctly fixed.

Installing rubber sealing ring

Insert rubber sealing ring (small diameter pipe)
Insert the rubber sealing ring into the socket, making it in the shape of a heart or 8, and then insert the lower half or top and bottom of the rubber sealing ring into the grooves in the socket.
Insert rubber sealing ring (large diameter pipe)
Align the white marking line on the rubber sealing ring with the marking line on the end surface of the socket, and then insert the rubber sealing ring into the socket in a flower-like shape as shown in the following figure. (ensure that the circumference of the rubber sealing ring faces the appropriate sealing groove.)
After removing dust and impurities, apply a layer of lubricant to the area from the end of the socket to the inside of the white line and the inner surface of the rubber sealing ring.
Ensure that the spigot has been chamfered, otherwise, square or sharp edges may cause damage or displacement of the sealing ring and cause leakage. When cutting pipes at the construction site, a heavy file or grinder should be used to chamfer the socket and remove sharp edges.
Align the spigot with the socket, and then insert it into the socket of the pipe. 
Use of connecting tools
Pipes with a diameter of DN700-1200 use two control rod sliders when connecting, while pipes with a diameter of DN1400-2000 use three control rod sliders

When pushing in, ensure that the joint is straight.
Small diameter pipes can be pushed in using a long rod and fork. For large - diameter pipes, it is required to add chain blocks, rotating rod pullers, etc.iders when connecting, while pipes with a diameter of DN1400-2000 use three control rod sliders

Check the position of the sealing ring

Insert a feeler gauge into the gap between the socket and the spigot, and check along the circumference of the socket to ensure that the position of the sealing ring is appropriate

Backfill

The soil used for backfilling ditches shall be free from slag, dust, waste, vegetables or organic materials, gravel, rocks, frozen soil, or other unsuitable materials. From 0.3 meters above the top of the pipe to the roadbed of the sidewalk, soil containing gravel can be used, with a maximum size of no more than 20cm.

Pressure test

After backfilling, a pressure test is conducted to check the reliability of its performance.
