Restrained Ductile Iron Pipe(Tube) is different from regular T type Ductile Iron Pipes, it is seldom used in the main pipeline but used in particular applications with special joint and structure.
Application
●Pipe Laying With High Slope
●Anchorage Block Or Buttress Free When Pipeline Curve
●HDD(Horizontal Directional Drilling)
We provide three types of Restrained Joint Ductile Iron Pipe:
1. Tooth Gasket Restrained Joint
2. Outer Anchored Restrained Joint
3. Internal Anchored Restrained Joint
Tooth Gasket Restrained Joint Ductile Iron Pipe
Tooth Gasket Restrained Joint is a little different than the regular T type Joint, it need specially manufactured steel teeth inserted in place of normal gasket, when the spigot is fully inserted, the teeth bite into the spigot and restrict the spigot to come out, and the Tooth Gasket Restrained Joint could be used to connect any T type Ductile Iron Pipe.
The product range is DN80-700, and allowed Max. Angular Deflection is 1.5-2°, and PFA is 10-16Bar.
Outer Anchored Restrained Joint
Outer Anchored Restrained Joint, also namely Bolted Restrained Joint can withstand high pressure, it need the factory to make welding bead on the spigot, and retainer ring, gland, rubber gasket and boltsνts are needed to achieve the restraint, it is easy to assembly and disassembly when required.
The product range is DN80-1200, and allowed Max. Angular Deflection is 1-2°, and PFA is 20-30Bar.
Internal Anchored Restrained Joint
Internal Anchored Restrained Joint can withstand very high pressure, it need long socket with two chambers one for sealing and the other for restraining axial movement, the restraining is done by weld bead on the spigot, and it is easy to assemble and disassemble when required.
The product range is DN80-2000, and allowed Max. Angular Deflection is 1-3°, and PFA is 15-40Bar.
